High impact polystyrene sheet, also known as HIPS sheet, is a thermoplastic material made from elastomer-modified polystyrene. Widely used in household appliances, telecommunications, electronics, computers, disposables, pharmaceuticals, packaging and entertainment markets. Due to its convenience and low cost, HIPS sheet is widely used in many appliances and industries. Key industries and markets include packaging, disposables, appliances and consumer appliances, toys and entertainment, construction products and decorative items.

The concept of Anti static polystyrene sheet : when the surface resistance of PS sheet plastics and products is greater than 10th power, PS plastic sheet roll antistatic is easy to generate static electricity; PS antistatic plastic sheet has certain antistatic performance between 8-10th power; between 6-8th power Anti-static performance; the best anti-static performance between 4th to 6th power; when it reaches 4th power or less, PS antistatic plastic sheet roll  has considerable conductivity and belongs to conductive semiconductor materials.

Prevention and control of PS sheet plastic static: 

1 Add some materials that have hygroscopic effect and are harmless to plastics (auxiliaries) to reduce its surface resistance. This is the antistatic agent for plastics. PS sheet plastic is used according to the type of antistatic agent selected according to the type of plastic. Both ionic and non-ionic are hygroscopic antistatic agents. After adding these additives, these materials absorb water in the air and reduce surface resistance to achieve antistatic performance. 

2 Directly using plastic with conductive properties to process its products, this is the origin of conductive plastic (resin).
